Post a commission rule, reps generate a Stripe Payment Link for your product, customers pay you directly through Stripe. No integration lift, no subscription fee — 1% per sale, taken as part of Stripe's application fee.
How it works
- 1Connect Stripe in one click
Standard Stripe OAuth — you keep full control of your Stripe account. We get scoped permission to set application_fee_percent on charges through repblend Payment Links.
- 2Expose the Products you want reps selling
List your Stripe Prices, pick which ones reps can rep. You can dedicate a specific Product to repblend even if you sell the same thing elsewhere under a different Product.
- 3Set a commission rule
Percent (e.g. 20% forever). Scope (specific Price, tag, all). Lifetime (one-time / every invoice / capped N months). Change it anytime — takes effect on new Payment Links.
- 4Reps generate a Payment Link
One-click enlist from their side. We call stripe.paymentLinks.create on your connected account with the rep ID in metadata and app_fee covering our 1% + the rep's commission.
- 5Customers pay you directly
The charge hits your Stripe balance as a direct charge — funds never pool with us. Your customer, your Stripe dashboard, your payout schedule.
- 6Commissions route automatically
On invoice.payment_succeeded, we Transfer the rep's cut from our platform balance. Refunds and disputes clawback pro-rata. Stripe's 1099-NEC / T4A system handles rep tax reporting.
What we don't do
We don't touch your pricing. You set Stripe Prices in your own account; we don't negotiate them.
We don't see your customer list. Every customer is created on your Stripe account via direct charge. We only see the invoice metadata we need to pay reps.
We don't hold your money. Funds land directly in your Stripe balance. Only the application fee (repblend 1% + rep commission) briefly sits in our platform balance before the rep Transfer fires — seconds to hours.
We don't lock you in. Disconnect Stripe anytime; your Products and customers belong to you.
The commission mechanic (Pattern A)
When a rep enlists to sell your $500/mo product with a 20% commission rule, we create a Stripe Payment Link on your connected account with application_fee_percent = 21% (our 1% + their 20%). Every charge through that link credits $395 to your Stripe balance and $105 to ours.
On invoice.payment_succeeded, we call stripe.Transfer.create to move $100 of that $105 to the rep's Stripe balance. We keep $5 per invoice as platform fee.
This is called a 'direct charge' pattern in Stripe Connect terms. Funds never pool in our platform balance for your share — only for the commission slice that's immediately routed to the rep. Same architecture DoorDash, Substack, and Upwork use.
